U.S. workers were more efficient in the last three months of 2011, but their gains in productivity were slower than during the prior quarter, according to new data from the Labor Department.
Worker productivity increased at a 0.7 percent annual rate from October to December, less than a downwardly revised 1.9 percent in the previous three-month period.?
