The Skin Cancer Foundation?s Road to Healthy Skin Tour has reached South Florida.
The tour, sponsored by the foundation and Aveeno, offers free skin cancer screenings by board-certified dermatologists: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and noon to 3 p.m. Monday in a bus at The Harbor Shops, 1815 Cordova Road, Fort Lauderdale.
Doctors will focus on self-exams, prevention and treatments. More than 3.5 million cases of skin cancer are diagnosed yearly, according to SkinCancer.org. Go to SunSentinel.com/SkinTour.
